What to expect?
At each cleaning and oral exam, you should expect the following:

An examination will be conducted to check for signs of oral cancer

X-rays will be conducted in order to examine the tooth and bone integrity and to ensure early detection of potential problems such as bone loss, tumors, or cysts

Plaque Removal to reduce bacterial toxins that inflame gums and lead to periodontal disease

Removal of Tartar on the tooth surface

Tooth Polishing to remove stains and to polish the surface of the teeth
If desired, we can perform cleanings using sedation to ensure that you receive a relaxed, comfortable visit.
